Roy Belson is a veteran in the commercial real estate and development world. Roy Belson has over 35 combined years in Real Estate and Real Estate-related services. His commercial real estate background and acquisition/disposition experience places him in a unique position to have a perspective of innovation and the  repurpose of buildings for future uses.

 

 

Prior to real estate Roy Belson owned a  Custom Treatment Inc. a large interior contracting firm, contracting and subcontracting field for almost 20 years, servicing the largest commercial architect and design firms in California. He has worked with some of the most prestigious names in their respective industries, such as:

He syndicated 350,000 square feet of office properties in Houston, Texas with a five-building office portfolio with over 60 tenants which included, ITT Technical School, CVS Pharmacy Regional Offices, and other major and notable tenants. He added an additional $700,000 in rental income the first 16 months of ownership and maintained over 80% occupancy during the 37-month hold.

 

With over $2Billion in sale and lease transactions during his career, a wealth of experience and lessons were acquired.

 

As a tenant rep broker, he has represented Bank of America, The Walt Disney Company and Baxter Healthcare on several assignments.

 

He is also the author of three commercial real estate books including, “The Due Diligence Handbook for Commercial Real Estate”, a #1 Bestseller on Amazon, “The How to Add Value Handbook for Commercial Real Estate” and “The Residential Agent’s Handbook for Commercial Real Estate”.

 

He speaks regularly at several real estate organizations and institutions such as, University of San Diego, Burnham-Moores Center for Real Estate, University of California, Los Angeles Extension, CCIM and many Boards of Realtors and investor groups.

He is experienced in sales and leasing, having recently taken part in the sale of We Store It Self Storage Center, Bulldog Industries, and Industrial warehouse in Huntington Park. Dan Murphy places a strong emphasis on client relations, prioritizing his clients needs first. He continues to provide great results on behalf of his clients whether they are buying or selling a commercial property. Licensed in both California and Tennessee, Dan Murphy is able to provide in-depth analysis and conduct his due diligence to ensure your purchase or sale comes to be the greatest possible course of action you ever made.

Ray Mederos is the administrator of operations of The Belson Group International, part of RE/MAX One-Gold Nation-commercial division. He performs competitive marketing campaigns for our team and thrives to increase our exposure within the commercial real estate market. He analyzes current social market trends and creates key marketing presentations for our company. He works on strategizing and organizing objectives to attain the highest results possible through marketing. Ray has a passion for learning and growing within our team. Prior to Belson Group he worked as a data analyst overseeing sales and inventory at Golden Bolt LLC. Ray has years of experience in operations management at Smart and Final LLC. He had the pleasure to oversee day-to-day operations within the retail store location. Ray’s knowledge in the retail and warehouse industry is an asset to The Belson Group Team.

Marika is a member of our team.  It is considered essential data in our due diligence of investment properties to know how and where we can optimize savings and increase efficiencies with energy usage.

Marika Erdely is the founder and CEO of Green EconoME, a full-service Energy Consulting and Construction Company located in Santa Monica, CA. 

Green EconoME’s services include:

  • Energy Disclosure compliance for the City of LA (EBEWE) and the State of CA (AB 802)
  • Energy audits
  • Design and installation of energy and water saving retrofits
    • LEDs, HVAC control, energy monitoring, window film, EV charging
  • Measurement and verification of the projected savings
  • Energy analysis for new developments to operate at a higher efficiency
  • Application and awareness of available utility incentives
  • Renewable energy projects 

 

Marika acquired her Contractors License B (#1001368) in 2007 and C-10 in 2018. Marika is a LEED AP BD+C (Building Design and Construction), a Certified Energy Auditor and a Fitwel Ambassador. Marika holds an MBA from Pepperdine University and a BA in Business Economics from UCSB.
